Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel says J.P. Morgan Chase will create more than 400 jobs in the city by the end of next year and open four new branches.
Emanuel and bank officials scheduled a news conference Tuesday to make the announcement at one of the new branches on Chicago's northwest side.
They say the new jobs will be located at bank facilities downtown and at the new branches.
Chase has 8,200 employees in Chicago and 128 branches.
Emanuel's office says he's announced 4,000 new jobs since taking office in May.
