Federal prosecutors are delving deep into local history, focusing on racism in Chicago and police misconduct.
They presented three and a half hours of testimony today to Judge Joan Lefkow. They're trying to put Jon Burge's conviction into a larger context as the judge prepares to sentence the former Chicago Police commander tomorrow.
