Cubs fans who scored tickets to tomorrow's home opener at Wrigley Field will be greeted by expanded bleachers, and large Bud Light advertisements.
The Cubs say the expansion to the bleachers -- now known as the Bud Light Bleachers -- adds almost 1,800 seats to the stadium, and improves wheelchair access.
Cubs Executive Vice President of Business Operations Mark McGuire says the project cost $13.5 million.
Some managers of rooftop businesses had criticized the expansion, fearing it would block their customers' views of the stadium.
Four rooftop owners today either said they were excited about the renovations, or declined to comment.
