Sound Opinions in Austin: Thursday report
March 18, 2011
Produced by Sound Opinions
Greg Kot of Sound Opinions lost track of Jim DeRogatis late Thursday night at SXSW (he was hard at work on a blog post, no doubt), but offers this update nonetheless. Greg takes umbrage with SXSW keynote speaker Bob Geldoff's claim that American music is "exhausted." He says two acts he saw Thursday evening are evidence to the contrary: Glasser and Tune-yards. Here's Jim's take on Geldoff and the inspiring new act that he saw afterwards.
