New York's Obie Awards honor Chicago theater

There were several Chicago connections in New York Monday night when the 56th annual Obie Awards were handed out, honoring work in Off-Broadway theater.The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity by Kristofer Diaz received the Obie for Best New American Play (and Diaz picked up $1,000).

Chicago director stays with 'Tomorrow Morning'

"Tomorrow Morning," the British-born intimate tuner that won the 2009 Jeff Award for a Musical, is scheduled for a March 21-April 23 New York run at the Off-Broadway York Theatre Company, where the Chicago director, Tom Mullen, will repeat.
