The acronym EDM may sound more like a disease to puzzled parents. But the latest wave of electronic dance music has grown so popular, some political campaigns are using it to woo young voters. And Chicago’s playing a major role in that scene.
UAL--based here in Chicago--announced today it will cut 1000 jobs in 2009. That's on top of the 1500 cuts it announced in 2008. No word yet on if and how many of those cuts might be local.
