Chicago Police Department Superintendent Garry McCarthy is recommending that a police detective be fired for his role in the shooting death of unarmed Rekia Boyd in 2012. And the city was ordered to release a police dash cam video of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald’s shooting death by a CPD officer.
Tyshawn Lee was killed in broad daylight Monday in an alley in Chicago’s south side Gresham neighborhood. Residents there are outraged and police are pleading with the community to find out who did it.
