A massive earthquake has struck Japan. In magnitude, the 8.9 quake was the largest ever in Japan’s history. It set off a 23-foot tsunami and more than 50 aftershocks. Chicagoan Roberto Montano joins us by phone from Tokyo.
Japanese police say 200 to 300 bodies have been found in a northeastern coastal area where a massive earthquake spawned a tsunami. The bodies were found in Sendai city, the closest major city to the epicenter.
