City looks for alternative ways to generate revenue

The City of Chicago has been looking for new ways to pay for services. Property taxes went up to provide schools with more money but fees and fines appeared to be the new tax hike. On Monday the state legislature signed off on Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s call for speed cameras near schools and parks.
