Chicago Bears answer 'London Calling' with a win

London’s Wembley Stadium is the home field for England’s national football team; but Sunday American football was the draw. The Chicago Bears met, and beat, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24-18. The Bears' record improved to 4-3 as they headed home for a bye week.

The Bears are 4-3. Which, according to the players and coaches, is exactly where they want to be?

So the Bears are now 4-3. The rhetoric in the locker room yesterday was that this record is identical to last year's team - and look how that turned out. I hate to be the guy who says it, but wasn't the plan to be better than last year?

Bears win over Tampa in London

The Chicago Bears are heading back to the U.S. with a victory. They beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 24-18, in a game played in London.Come the third quarter, the Bears had a comfortable 21-5 lead over Tampa. But the Buccaneers made a game of it in the second half for the Wembley Stadium crowd.
