Turnout for Tuesday's runoff election was low. But there were some exciting stories among the outcomes. Four incumbent aldermen appear to have lost. Those seats represent just a portion the turnover in the council. That means a lot of fresh faces at City Hall, assuming the election results hold.

Tuesday is the final day to challenge candidate petitions

Time is running out for candidates to try to kick their opponents off the February ballot in Chicago. Tuesday is the deadline for those objections to be filed.During the election four years ago for mayor and other city offices, 208 objections were filed with the Chicago Board of Elections.
