Today we had some beautiful photos of the wildfires in West Texas. The one I have here resembles a large scale painting. It's great as far as aesthetic appeal goes, but can distract from the destruction the wildfire wreaks.
I was struck by the third photo in today's news gallery. It's a 10 year old boy in Libya working as a traffic cop. He's doing it, the caption claims, to pass the time since schools have been closed for two months now. Incredible.View this gallery as a mosaic, but be sure to read the captions.
Libya's rebel forces have begun employing art to support their efforts to oust Kadhafi and today's news photo gallery has a few photos depicting the range of the caricatures.More interesting stories unfold in the captions, but as always I recommend viewing as a mosaic.
Today our news photo gallery includes a shot of pilfered artifacts from Egypt. Shortly after the Mubarak ouster someone must have nabbed the pieces and eventually ditched them in a Metro station.Find more interesting stories in the captions or simply admire the gallery as a mosaic.
