Back in the 80s, Ruud Gullit was one of my idols. Gullit was a colorful character then, with his trademark dreadlocks and a nascent rap career. I was thrilled to see him on ESPN now, after 20 years. At first, though, he was struggling to find his rhythm as an analyst.
Now, I have to admit that I did not watch every game in the tournament. If Paraguay and Japan's 0-0 draw, or Slovakia's 1-1 draw with New Zealand, or Switzerland's 0-0 draw with Honduras were better, please let me know.
