She is currently the CEO of Johnson Publishing Company in Chicago, which publishes EBONY and JET magazines.</p><p style="" class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">Also serving on the Inauguration Committee are </span></strong><span style="color: black;">Melinda Kelly,&nbsp;Eric Lefkofsky,&nbsp;Antonio Gracias,&nbsp;David Herro, John T. The Chicago-based company is responsible for two of the most well-known African American publications in the U.S. &ndash; <em>Ebony</em> and <em>Jet</em>. But the company has seen some significant changes of late. Last year, <a href="http://www.wbez.org/episode-segments/desiree-rogers-discusses-her-career-change">former White House Social Secretary Desiree Rogers took over as CEO of Johnson</a>. Then last November, the company sold their historic headquarters on S. Michigan Ave. On Feb. 15, word came that former<em> OK! Magazine</em> publisher Stephen Gregory Barr will now head up Group Publishing. Several of the nation's top chefs cooked up their signature dishes for a crowd of Chicago celebrities. Chefs included Ming Tsai, David Burke and Boston's Barbara Lynch, as well as Gavin Kaysen from Cafe Boulud in New York and &quot;Top Chef&quot; winner Stephanie Izard.
