Over that time, he shared the stage with some local rock heroes, including Jeff Tweedy and Billy Corgan. He has also boogied down with some big boys such as Keith Richards. His band, the Nicholas Tremulis Orchestra, has undergone a number of changes since its formation in 1982. Despite its different incarnations, their sound has continued to echo throughout the Windy City. The band was wrapping up their self-proclaimed magnum opus. Front man Nicholas Tremulis joined Eight Forty-Eight to talk about his life and work.

The Nicholas Tremulis Orchestra performs with Garland Jeffreys Friday at FitzGerald’s in Berwyn.

Nicholas Tremulis performs on Eight Forty-Eight.

Thu, 17 Nov 2011 15:26:00 -0600 http://www.wbez.org/episode-segments/2011-11-17/chicago-rocker-nicholas-tremulis-keeps-rolling-94140
