As the owner of <a href="http://www.leakandsonsfuneralhomes.com/">Leak and Sons Funeral Homes</a>, Leak aims to provide families who have lost loved ones to violence with closure. Sometimes, that means playing the role of counselor in addition to funeral home director.</div><p>You may remember Spencer Leak, Sr. from the award-winning documentary, <a href="http://interrupters.kartemquin.com/"><em>The Interrupters</em></a>, in which he speaks of his experiences laying so many young people to rest.</p><p>Today just after 3:30 on the <em>Afternoon Shift, </em>we’ll talk more with Leak, Sr. about what’s causing the violence that’s tearing some Chicago communities apart, and what can be done to stop it.
