Louder Than A Bomb (LTAB) features over 1,200 students from more than 130 Chicago-area schools sharing stories with 10,000-plus audience members. Competitors participate in this Olympic-style, slam poetry event through a series of preliminary and semifinal bouts lasting more than a month and culminating in Team Finals at Chicago&rsquo;s Arie Crown Theater, 2301 S. Lake Shore Drive, on Saturday, March 28, 2015.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">The LTAB 15th Anniversary Gala will take place on March 1, 2015, at the Black Ensemble Theater. Festival attendees will find something to suit all tastes in the full range of Flamenco arts explored in the performances.</p><p>From the <a href="http://www.arteyvidachicago.com/events/vanesa-aibar/">Opening Night celebration Friday, February 14</a> featuring flamenco dancer Vanesa Aibar, accompanied by guitarist Eduardo Pacheco and vocalist Cristian de Moret. Vanesa Aibar conveys the art of Flamenco through her stylistic and powerful self-choreographed dance. WBEZ&#39;s Alison Cuddy hosts the evening.</p><div>The Festival finally closes out March 22nd wtih <a href="http://www.arteyvidachicago.com/events/sonia-olla-2/">Sonia Olla and&nbsp;Tiempo Al Aire (&ldquo;Time in the air&rdquo;) </a>and special guest: Chiara Mangiameli. Born in Barcelona, Sonia Olla is a well-known flamenco dancer. She trained in Condal at the Instituto de Teatro y Danza where she specialized in Flamenco dance. This year the festival is coming to Chicago from August 7<sup>th</sup>-11<sup>th</sup> 2013 with preliminary bouts and workshops being hosted at The Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts and Team Finals being held at The Auditorium Theatre.</p><p>The theme will target the violence plaguing our society reflected in the high rates of youth violence in Chicago. Youth Speaks is inviting thousands of Chicagoans to take park in free writing workshops led by special guest artist&rsquo;s Dennis Kim, Kelly Tsai, Chinaka Hodge, Roger Bonair &ndash; Agard and YCA Artistic Director, Kevin Coval.
