He has a new book out about his life in hockey. Hull is arguably the greatest hockey player to ever play for the Chicago Blackhawks.

So when I saw him sitting out in the lobby waiting for his interview, I had to ask him to do a Wikipedia Files. This was one of the more entertaining Wikis ever, just because of the color that Mr. Hull brings to the answers. Although I can't skate.

Oh yeah, he swears. So don't get mad at me for playing along. And oh yeah, he let me wear his championship ring. Jealous? Look at the determination in both of our faces. We would kill it on the ice together.

Wed, 01 Dec 2010 16:32:00 -0600 http://www.wbez.org/blog/justin-kaufmann/wikipedia-files-bobby-hull Bobby Hull to perform in Goodman Theatre production of 'A Christmas Carol' http://www.wbez.org/blog/city-room-blog/bobby-hull-perform-goodman-theatre-production-christmas-carol

Legendary Chicago Blackhawks hockey hero Bobby Hull, "the Golden Jet," will make a one-night-only appearance in the Goodman Theatre's lavish annual production of "A Christmas Carol." The great star of the 1961 Hawks Stanely Cup team will don him now some gay apparel (in the Christmas sense) on Dec. 14, appearing in selected scenes on behalf of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Hull will accompany Charles Finch, 11, helping the Make-A-Wish kid fulfill his dream of acting onstage. Both Hull and Finch will wear special costumes, created just for them by he Goodman design team. This is the fourth consecutive year that the Goodman and the Make-A-Wish Foundation have made a young person's dream of appearing on stage come true. That win – after a rather long franchise drought – was in part due to Mr. Bobby Hull.

On the ice, The Golden Jet’s speed and famous slap shot made him the first player in NHL history to score more than 50 goals in a single season.

And trophies? He’s pretty much won them all. And some numerous times – the Art Ross, The Hart, the Lady Byng.

The 23-year veteran of the league remains one of the all-time goal leaders for the Blackhawks.

Now you can relive his epic feats with the Blackhawks in Hull’s new book - The Golden Jet: A Spectacular Career in Stunning Photographs.

Bobby Hull is currently an official Chicago Blackhawks Ambassador.
