In May, <em>Bicycling Magazine</em> <a href="http://www.bicycling.com/ride-maps/featured-rides/5-chicago">rated</a> Chicago the fifth most bike-friendly in the nation.</p><p>But do these benchmarks reflect the reality of the road? Anyone who has hit the streets in a bike or a car knows that sharing the streets is easier said than done.
