The <a href="http://www.chicagoemmyonline.org/images/2011-2012%20emmy%20nomination%20list.pdf">Chicago Emmy Awards will</a> be presented on November 18 at the Alhambra Palace.</p><p><img alt="" class="image-original_image" src="http://www.wbez.org/system/files/styles/original_image/llo/insert-images/nathanlane.jpeg" style="float: left; height: 200px; width: 300px; " title="Nathan Lane in the Goodman's 'Iceman Cometh' (Photo by Liz Lauren)" /><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family: georgia, serif; "><strong>- It&#39;s that time of year again</strong></span></span>: drop by the Goodman and pick up some of their costume shop goods for your Halloween Costume from this past year&#39;s season. The sale is Saturday October 20 from 9 am to 2 pm.</p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family: georgia, serif; "><strong>-The <a href="http://www.jeffawards.org/userfiles/file/2011-2012%20Equity%20Award%20Recipients.pdf">Equity Jeff Awards</a> were last night</strong></span></span>, where, perhaps unsurprisingly, the Goodman&#39;s<em> The Iceman Cometh</em> and CST&#39;s <em>Follies</em> both knocked it out of the park; the former snagged six awards, including Best Production-Play, while the latter won Best Musical. Other productions that got highlighted:<em> The Pitmen Painters</em> by Timeline and <em>The Doyle &amp; Debbie Show</em> which was at the Royal George. And actors like&nbsp;Larry Yando and Diane D&#39;Aquila won top prizes for principal role performances, Yando for his role in Court Theatre&#39;s <em>Angels in America</em> and D&#39;Aquila&#39;s role in CST&#39;s <em>Elizabeth&nbsp;Rex</em>. As <a href="http://www.wbez.org/blog/onstagebackstage/2012-02-28/daily-rehearsal-jungle-book-set-world-premiere-goodman-96794">previously announced</a>, Wishcamper will be directing <em>Other Desert Cities </em>in January at the Goodman. Proceeds from the benefit go to a Las Vegas-located museum.&nbsp;&quot;In addition to their well known burlesque festival, the &quot;Miss Exotic World Competition&quot;, the BHoF currently houses a unique collection of burlesque costumes, posters, playbills, and other memorabilia from the legendary greats like Gypsy Rose Lee, Tempest Storm, Blaze Starr and more.
