He wants the member countries to increase aid and impose mandatory quotas reuiring them to accept more refugees. Last week the picture of a dead Syrian child whose family was attempting to get to Greece drew international attention to the ongoing cisis in Syria and the flood of refugees seeking to escape that conflict.
