Cynthia Plaster Caster has gotten up close and personal with the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys and Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

But her experiences in the music world roamed much further. Cynthia was in the process of putting together a memoir about her time as an infamous groupie. She shared more family-friendly weekend picks but first Cynthia Albritton, aka Cynthia Plaster Caster, told Eight Forty-Eight about her work in progress, a memoir of her groupie days.

Cynthia's Picks:

FRIDAY
Chris and Heather's Country Calendar Show at Fitzgerald’s

Musician Robert Kramer is playing at Sabatinos

The Fifth Annual Hideout Christmas Egyptian/Cosmic Panto at the Hideout (RUNS FRI / SAT / SUN)

SATURDAY
Cynthia Plaster Caster is going to go to The Bleeping Ravenswood Manor Film Society. Jess Duff is part of a duo that runs the Urban Folk Circuit; the year-round traveling craft show first popped up last year.
