It&#39;s called &quot;The Sound, the Soul, the Syncopation&quot; and opens Thursday at Expo 72.</p><p>The interactive exhibit&#39;s sponsors include the National Public Housing Museum and the city&#39;s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special events.</p><p>Organizers say the display will address the role of music in the creation and development of community. The exhibit will include artists in country, hip-hop, punk, jazz, gospel and pop.</p><p>The National Public Housing Museum hasn&#39;t opened yet. An effort to preserve those ties is now underway thanks to the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.publichousingmuseum.org/">National Public Housing Museum</a> and the City of Chicago. The exhibition is called &quot;<a target="_blank" href="http://www.publichousingmuseum.org/site/files/663/84998/306966/503482/HCH_reopeningflier.pdf">History Coming Home</a>.&quot;</p><p>&quot;Eight Forty-Eight&quot; host Alison Cuddy toured the exhibition with <a target="_blank" href="http://www.keithmagee.com/">Keith Magee</a>, the executive director of the National Public Housing Museum.
