Former Chicagoan Wafaa Bilal is among the young artists whose work is on display. His multi-media piece is called “3rdi” (Third Eye), and like his other work, it’s a little over the top. To create “3rdi,” Wafaa implanted a camera in the back of his head which tracks his movements throughout the day and generates a new photograph every minute. Those photos display in real time on his website and at the Doha museum. Wafaa tells us what his latest project is all about.

Thu, 10 Mar 2011 16:59:00 -0600 http://www.wbez.org/episode-segments/2011-03-10/his-latest-project-experimental-artist-implants-camera-back-his-head-834
