Dawes will morph into the Chicago Playboy Mansion for television.</p><p>The Charles Gates Dawes House in Evanston will be filmed next week by crews from Twentieth Century Fox TV for the NBC television pilot <em>Playboy</em>, about women working as Playboy bunnies for the Chicago club in 1963.</p><p>Evanston History Center Executive Director Eden Pearlman says show producers asked some time ago about using the interior of Dawes House. The real Playboy Mansion was located on North State Street in Chicago and was home to Hugh Hefner from 1959 until the mid 1970s, when he moved to Los Angeles.</p><p>Pearlman says crews will be using some rooms on the first floor of Dawes House, but primarily the library.
