Becky Vlamis
Becky joined the staff of Worldview in 2008. As a producer, she writes scripts, directs the program and produces segments, including the weekly music series "Global Notes." In 2009, she produced "Eyewitness to the Iron Curtain," profiles of Chicagoans who experienced life under communism in Europe.
Prior to Worldview, Becky was an assistant editor for the NPR program Talk of the Nation. She also helped with the production and booking of NPR’s breaking news coverage of Hurricane Katrina, the death of Pope John Paul II and the July 7 terrorist attacks in London.
Becky began her public radio career as an intern for Wait, Wait...Don’t Tell Me! She lives in Andersonville.
