As a Web producer for WBEZ's website, Elliott focuses on all things digital. From original online reporting to creating data viszualizations, he produces and enhances the station's content online, on mobile platforms and social media.
Elliott previously worked as Web editor at the Wall Street Journal, where he specialized in managing breaking news online and the production of iPad, Android and mobile applications as the paper's mobile platform editor.
Prior to that, he was a senior Web editor at the New York Daily News and interned as a Web producer at The New York Times.
Elliott graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2006 with a B.A. in journalism, having interned at the Chicago Tribune, Chicago RedEye, and WBBM CBS2 News.
Elliott is a Chicago native, hailing from the Jefferson Park neighborhood. He now lives in Edgewater with his cat Boomer.
