For decades, Metra operated bar cars complete with beer, wine, mixed drinks and snacks for sale.  The service was discontinued back in August of 2008, although  the commuter rail line does still allow passengers to bring their own booze on board.  But as Eilee Heikenen-Weiss found out

In December of last year, Thomas and Anna Ware were forced to say a very painful goodbye to their son, Albert Ware. Albert immigrated to the United States from Liberia at age 10, when his father grew concerned about the conflict there.
