Logan Jaffe is the multimedia producer of Curious City, which means she handles everything from video, photo and interactives to graphic design and social media.
Jaffe is a contributor to the Nerdette Podcast (see: Siri and the female voice, Nerding out with R.L. Stine), and has gained recognition in Third Coast Audio Festival's ShortDocs Challenge and KCRW's 24-Hour Radio Race. Her audio work has aired on Re:Sound, Random Tape and local editions of All Things Considered and Weekend Edition.
In 2013, Jaffe was nominated for the Pushcart Prize in nonfiction writing for her coverage of The World's Longest Yard Sale, which also included an online documentary she produced and directed for Digital Americana Magazine. A dabbler in experimental film, Jaffe was awarded a grant to create a live multimedia performance using found audio, photos and home movies.
She made her way to WBEZ as Curious City's first intern after earning her degree photojournalism from the University of Florida in 2011. A Miami native, Jaffe has previously freelanced at The Gainesville Sun and interned at The Miami Herald.
