The Steppenwolf Theatre Company is extending its Broadway production of “August: Osage County” by three weeks. The play was originally scheduled to open today, but the New York premiere has been indefinitely postponed because of the Broadway stagehand strike. David Hawkanson is Steppenwolf’s Executive Director. He says no one knows how long the strike will last, but fans should remain hopeful.
