As part of our series Chicago Matters: Beyond Borders, producers Linda Lutton and Catrin Einhorn report on a married couple—Rocio and Francisco—who have lived apart for most of the last 19 years. Lutton reports from Mexico, where Rocio lives with their children. Einhorn reports from the Chicago suburb of Rolling Meadows, where Francisco came to earn a living for their family.
