SHARE Illinois Volunteers Head to Nearby Swing States

Barack Obama is expected to easily win Illinois’ 21 electoral votes. So local Democrats and Republicans are leaving the state to campaign for their preferred presidential candidate. They’re going to neighboring battleground areas in Wisconsin, Iowa and Indiana.

Chicago Public Radio’s Robert Wildeboer has been travelling around the Midwest with political reporter Ben Calhoun. The two of them have been taking the temperature of voters in those nearby states. This weekend Robert was in Indianapolis, Indiana. He caught up with about 60 people who had taken buses from two Chicago area churches.
