SHARE Daley Defends Partial Government Shutdown

Chicago Mayor Richard Daley wants to close government offices for a few days to help balance the city’s budget. He says the partial shutdown would help address a $469-million deficit. Daley says most city offices would close for three days around the holidays this year and next. Emergency services would not be effected.
