More O'Hare Delays

SHARE More O'Hare Delays

Christmas travel continues to be a slight headache for passengers flying out of O’Hare airport. But it’s nothing like yesterday.

O’Hare is experiencing some mild Christmas Eve delays. About 100 flights have been canceled today. And the average airline delay is between 30-45 minutes. Aviation officials say travel is down about 15 percent compared to an average day of travel. Yesterday’s weather caused frustration and some overnight airport accommodations. O’Hare rolled out 500 cots for passengers waiting for their flights.

Today’s weather has made travel less hectic. Officials say Midway hasn’t experienced any delays or cancellations today.
