Some rough winter weather is on its way to the Chicago region Monday night. Richard Brumer is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service. He says blizzard conditions could develop after midnight.

BRUMER: The winds are really going to start picking up and it looks like we’ll probably be going with a blizzard warning with that wind strong enough to pick up the snow that’s on the ground. Plus the snow that’s continuing to fall we should be looking at that white-out condition overnight tonight into tomorrow morning.

Tuesday, Brumer says temperatures are expected to fall into the single digits with dangerous wind chills.
