Traders Mark Inauguration

Traders on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade took a few moments out of their busy day to mark Barack Obama’s inauguration.

For the most part, the trading pits were as busy as usual Tuesday. But, no one was oblivious to the inauguration. It was being broadcast on TVs around the room. The traders made some noise when the TV screens cut away to a shot of traders, they seemed pleased to be part of the big story.
And they clapped after Obama took the oath of office and after his inauguration address. Someone in crowd was shouting “hail Obama”.
But celebration was short lived and everyone went right back to work.
