Democrats’ pick for lieutenant governor, Scott Lee Cohen (AP)

Pat Quinn this morning still leads in the Democratic primary for Illinois Governor. He’s not saying much about his possible running mate in the fall campaign. Scott Cohen won the Democratic nomination for lieutenant governor.

Quinn yesterday took questions about a reported domestic battery charge in Cohen’s past.

QUINN: I don’t know. Any information to come out, people will look at...I have no idea. I think the voters voted yesterday. We’ll see what happens.

Quinn says he supports Cohen’s efforts to hold job fairs around Illinois. Those job fairs were a focus of Cohen’s campaign ads.
