The Taste of Chicago has started and Chicago street festival season is in full swing. When done right, street festivals work to showcase the flavor of specific neighborhoods. When done wrong, the festival becomes a hodge podge of cover bands and Polish sausages. What makes a great street festival? And what can be done to improve upon the standard?
