Crime in Chicago's "safe" neighborhoods

Avondale, Beverly, Mount Greenwood and Wrigleyville, are some of the communities that you rarely hear about in the news when the focus is violence. But last month in Beverly, a man was robbed at gunpoint after getting off the Metra train and heading home. A few days ago two women were shot in Uptown near Montrose Beach. Timmy Granzow, the author of the Avondale/Logan Square Crime Blotter and Chicago Tribune crime reporter Peter Nickeas discuss the chronicling of crime in communities thought to be safe.
