Chicago’s Divvy bike program is one of many bike sharing programs in more than 30 U.S. cities. Since its start last summer, Divvy has gained more than 3,000 members. But despite its growing popularity Divvy has had issues expanding, in part because the company that supplies their heavy, tamper-resistant bikes went bankrupt 6 months ago.
