General Admission: The Chicago Fringe festival and storefront theater

The Chicago Fringe festival is just a week away. Fringe is Chicago’s largest theater festival, but compared to other cities it’s relatively small. Although Chicago boasts the largest theater community outside of New York, our festival is just a quarter the size of FringeNYC. If Chicago is the second city of theater and a city known for its festivals, then where is our big, international theater festival? Don Hall and Tyler Greene, of WBEZ’s new arts podcast, General Admission, join us to discuss Fringe and other local theater news. Photo Courtesy of Flickr/ TRBIMG
