Several beloved members of the Chicago theater community died last week. Two actors, Molly Glynn and Bernie Yvon, died the same day after tragic accidents. Glynn, was struck by a tree while riding her bike near Northfield and Yvon was killed in a traffic accident while on his way to Munster, Indiana, where he was going to rehearse at Theater at the Center. Articles and tributes surfaced all weekend, displaying the strength of the Chicago theater community. Chris Jones, the chief theater critic for the Chicago Tribune, discusses their legacies and how these losses are affecting the local theater community.
