At one minute past noon Central time today, about 50 students from the Lutheran School of Theology in Hyde Park and other seminary students in the area joined other colleges, universities, and workplaces across the nation for a "Hands Up Walk Out" demonstration to show solidarity for the Ferguson community. 12:01 is the time former Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson fatally shot unarmed Michael Brown in the St. Louis suburb. Kwame Pitts, a masters of divinity senior on the ordination track at the Lutheran School of Theology, organized today’s march and join us on the line.
