Do Chicago's schools have enough janitors?

Chicago Principals Association President Clarice Berry said that she was ‘terrified’ about the fate of Chicago Public Schools in a testimony before the City Council’s Education Committee yesterday. The testimony was meant to address concerns about the CPS’ transition to Aramark and the privatization of janitorial management. Berry cited staffing issues, a lack of supplies, and structural maintenance as some of the biggest problems that are currently plaguing CPS. She joins us on the line to discuss how these issues can create dangerous conditions for CPS students. Photo Courtesy of Flickr/ CRAZYTALES562
