Chicago Receives Business Honor

SHARE Chicago Receives Business Honor

Wages and workforce quality are two factors that will determine Chicago's place in the global economy of the future.

And they're just two of the many factors that prompted an international trade publication to name Chicago the number one “City of the Future” in North America.

The ranking is part of a bi-annual analysis from Financial Times Foreign Direct Investment magazine.

They commissioned experts to examine the economic prospects for North America cities on a range of criteria – from economic potential to infrastructure.

While this news may be ho-hum to some, it certainly has local civic and business boosters jumping for joy.

Tom Bartkoski is the Director of International Business Development for World Business Chicago.

He joins us to talk about Chicago's efforts to attract investment.
