SHARE Dalai Lama Visits Chicago

The Dalai Lama visits Chicago this weekend.
The spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhists is completing his tour of North America here before heading off to Australia and New Zealand.
The Dalai Lama won the Nobel Peace Price in 1989 and has become one of the most recognizable voices for human rights.
His authorized biographer is a Naperville resident named Mayank Chhaya.
Chicago Public Radio's religion reporter Jason DeRose recently sat down with Chhaya.

He says the Dalai Lama we know was chosen through a very spiritual and thorough process.
