It seems like these days, when someone says the name “O," it's either greeted with an “oooh” or an “oy.”

That's right: Oprah Winfrey has become one of the most powerful and polarizing forces in the universe.

But after a year and a half of shows on Broadway, she's brought her musical The Color Purple to the Harpo home base of Chicago.

The curtain fell just a few hours ago on the media preview performance, so here's one of the freshest reviews in town.
