To see pure, unbridled joy on stage, theatergoers can head to Kankakee tomorrow to watch Easy Street Theatre's production of Fairy Tale Courtroom.

In the play, the Big Bad Wolf and the Wicked Witch are on trial for terrorizing the fairy tale world.

Characters like the Three Little Pigs and Dorothy—of Wizard of Oz fame—testify against them.

What makes this play different is that all ten cast members have developmental disabilities like Down Syndrome.

Four other people on stage help the actors with their lines.

Earlier this week, Eight Forty-Eight dropped by for a final rehearsal.

Director Monica Brigham was helping Cindy Smith adjust her Little Red Riding Hood costume.
