Emily Black's family was torn apart by rock and roll. Since she was a toddler, she's been told that her mother left the family back in the '70s in order to follow the evolving underground music scene. And for the rest of her life, Emily tries to find the siren song that will lure her mother back. That's part of the complicated plot of the new book I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone.
