Police Superintendent Jody Weis answers questions about continuing violence in Chicago.

The month of July brought more violence, including a fatality at one of Chicago's headline summer events, more fighting down in Springfield—though no final budget—and more heat. Lots and lots of heat. So joining us now for a breath of fresh air and some interesting analysis of the month that was are three top Chicago journalists. Alden Loury is the editor and publisher of the Chicago Reporter, Michael Hawthorne is the Chicago Tribune’s environment reporter, and Natasha Julius is the Features Editor and the Weekend Desk Report Editor for the The Beachwood Reporter.
